Getting started

Add a vehicle and enter its gas-only fuel economy. Start tracking from a full tank, then log the odometer and fuel amount each time you fill up. Read how estimates work.

Why is the estimate different from my dashboard?

EngineMiles estimates engine miles from the fuel you log and the fuel economy you enter. A PHEV’s dashboard MPG may combine gas and electric driving. That combined figure is different from gas-only MPG. Learn which fuel economy to use.

Can I edit a fill-up?

Yes. Open the entry in Log and edit its details. Engine-mile estimates are recalculated from your saved history.

Where is the electric split?

The estimated gas-versus-electric split is a Pro feature for plug-in hybrids. Regular hybrids do not show an electric split.

How do I restore Pro?

Use the Apple Account that made the original purchase. In EngineMiles, open Settings → Help & about → Restore purchases. If Apple can verify an active subscription or lifetime purchase, Pro access is restored.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → EngineMiles. Apple manages subscriptions and billing. Lifetime purchases do not renew. For billing or refund help, use Apple’s purchase support.

How can I keep a backup?

Pro includes CSV import and export, plus full backup export. Save a backup somewhere you control before replacing your phone or removing the app. The log is stored on your device; EngineMiles does not provide an account-based cloud copy.
